Population Control

So today as an exercise to try break my mind from work topics for a bit, the idea of over-population came into mind so I decided to work on it for a little while.

Disclaimer, I’m going to probably spew some numbers, I’m not going to go through the exercise of chasing down quotes/references.  If I’m wrong on something, I’ll gladly acknowledge it. So be it.  Its an opinion piece and I reserve the right to be blatantly wrong through ignorance.

Smart Thinking

Its been a while since the last post, apologies.

After a Saturday spent listening to skeptical and critical thinkers online, I decided to pick up a book by Art Markman titled Smart Thinking.

So far I’ve made it part way through the second chapter, no revelations, no surprises.  The level of reading is very light and the ideas expressed so far seem diluted in plenty of narrative.  No one should feel intimidated by this title.  Maybe I’ll revisit the idea of making a review once its finished and digested.

This is my second e38.  Its last year of this body style.  Its a true sport model meaning it has the higher rear end gearing, the Vavona redwood wood inserts in the interior, the most comfortable seats ever made, sport steering wheel, firmer suspension and probably something else I’m missing.

So this is my first E38.  Its still in the family, currently my brother drives it on nice days.  Its a Canadian car with full winter package ( heated seats, heated steering wheel, ski bag, etc ).  Since getting it, my brother and I have replaced the brakes, front chassis bits, and water pump.  Its a lovely car to drive, incredibly comfortable.
